My Winter Trip to Puerto Rico

This winter, me and my family went to Puerto Rico for Christmas and New Year's. First of all, the weather there was fabulous. It literally never got cold and we could go to the beach anytime. My favorite experience of the trip was going to Vieques. Vieques is the home to 3 bioluminescent waters which there is only 1 country that has it; Puerto Rico! Also, the way to get to Vieques is very unique; you can either take a 30 minute flight in a 6 passenger plane or a $2 ferry ticket for 30 minutes as well. When we landed we rented a Jeep, which is the best car for the island. The first beach we went to was Sun Bay Beach and it wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. However, the next beaches we visited were the greatest beaches I have ever been to; Playa Caracas, Playa La Chiva, and Black Sand Beach. The other experiences in Puerto Rico were also nice such as the Old San Juan, Luquillo, Fajardo, and the only rainforest in the USA, El Yunque National Rainforest. Overall, Puerto Rico had lots to offer and much to enjoy and I would love going back there again.
