My Trip to Everglades, Florida

Florida is mainly about beaches and not much about adventures. I partially agree with you if that’s what you think. But to see the real Florida adventures you have to go down Marco Island into Everglades. Everglades is home to many alligators and a few crocodiles. My family and I went there and it was scorching. We got tickets to an airboat tour. You may or may not know what an airboat is, but I will tell you if you don’t know. An air boat is a boat powered by a giant fan behind you. When the fan moves, the air created hits the water making the boat move at an incredible speed of 45 mph. Once we reached another airboat on the ride, we saw a gator pop up from the water heading towards their boat! The person driving the airboat told us that marshmallows are a good nutrition for gators. So they fed the WILD gator some marshmallows. Also these gators would like nothing more than to eat the hand of us. But the best part of the tour was the speed of the boat. It was so fun to be jumping on water seeing trees and animals along the way.
