Mathnasium Volunteer Day12/10/2022 I have a passion for math and always love to share my skills with others. In my school you must complete 20 community service hours to graduate every year. I recently completed 2 hours as a volunteer by helping students at an elementary school with math. Most of the students I helped were in K-2 (Kindergarten - 2nd Grade). Me and my friend, Jasper, ran a station about number lines to help students who struggle with organizing numbers least to greatest. 15 other of my classmates participated and ran other stations that helped with other concepts. Everything was planned out for the volunteers; there was pizza, hot chocolate, and cookies. We were also given shirts that said “I Love Math!”
Overall, everything was set up really well and everyone enjoyed their time plus we got 2 volunteer hours! I would love to come back and do it again!
